This arch sculpture is 43 cm (17 in) high. Its shape was inspired by the famous whalebone arch in Whitby, North Yorkshire, and the uprights are made from old chair backs.

Sometimes my pieces aren't grouted because I haven't got round to it, but I think this one looks just fine without grout.
