outdoor mosaic bench

A humble homage to Gaudì and Jujol's bench in the Guell Park, Barcelona, mine is founded on a roofing beam salvaged from a skip. The cladding is broken bathroom ceramic and mirror. There's also some red flooring tile from the beach at Happisburgh, Norfolk: no doubt a remnant of one of the chalets that often leap lemming-like from the cliff there. The surface is 160 x 30cm (5ft x 1ft), and it stands on blocks of bricks.
